The OPCW, which sees "probable" that "milligrams" of gas have been used, has confirmed that the substance that caused the Skripal to fade was of "high purity", as well as "resistant to weather conditions", according to a statement. communication of the organization.

London has blamed Moscow for the attack on the ex-spy and her daughter and has identified the substance used as the Soviet-made agent Novichok. The Russian authorities, however, have denied any relationship and have accused the British of using the case for political purposes.

Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov reiterated criticism of the United Kingdom on Friday for not allowing Russian diplomatic services to access Yulia Skripal, whose whereabouts have been unknown since she was discharged. Peskov has promised that Moscow will continue to "work insistently" in this regard, according to the Sputnik news agency.

The spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zajarova, has affirmed that the Russian Government does not have information neither of Yulia Skripal nor of its father. Sergei Skripal remains hospitalized, although the last medical reports published confirmed an improvement and clarified that his life is no longer in danger.
